iClown Posted May 5, 2011 Share Posted May 5, 2011 Hello Nanoreefers, I have a Marineland Aquarium Light Timer which I've ran with my previous K-2 Viper Clamp on Lamp and the K-2 blew. I hooked the K-2 to the timer then the timer to the outlet so there was no power surge protector involved. So now I'm kind of hesitating to use it on my BC14 stock lights. Any ideas/experiences/opinions etc? Do you use another brand of timer? Link to comment
tam Posted May 5, 2011 Share Posted May 5, 2011 Most people just buy their timers (unless they're using a controller) from the hardware store and they're very similar to the Marineland ones with the exception of the digital ones. I wouldn't hesitate to run it on a setup, if you're worried just plug it in to a surge protector. Link to comment
