tinyreef Posted July 27, 2002 Share Posted July 27, 2002 it removes the ammonia but the tapwater isn't ready for the tank after that. the detoxifier is just addressing the ammonia. there are oodles of other 'stuff' in that water. maybe not as bad as here in jersey but still. :x get a ro/di unit or distiller for good water.
