skripo Posted March 5, 2004 Share Posted March 5, 2004 I want to upgrade my Nano Cube to 2 X 32 watt Compact Fluorescent and power them with one electronic ballast. I was looking at the Workhorse 3. I want to scrap the Nano's original lighting. Is this correct? Any other suggestions? What is the favored pin configuration to get the most flexibility with aquarium specific bulbs? Link to comment
emarti20 Posted March 6, 2004 Share Posted March 6, 2004 The Workhorse 3 is rated for 64W so would match exactly your proposed lighting. I run my 2x36W on a workhorse 5. That can do 128W so I can upgrade later if I want to a 96W or 2x55W should the need arise. Most bulbs that I have seen tend to be squre pin. However, almost all 36W bulbs for some reason tend to be straight pin. Link to comment
