derekschwabe Posted March 4, 2004 Share Posted March 4, 2004 I recently bought some aquacultured live rock and it has many bright colors on it like lime green and pink. My other live rock was normal rock colors. My question is, is the color artificial, or did the ocean make it like that? Link to comment
mogurnda Posted March 4, 2004 Share Posted March 4, 2004 The colors are real ,and are most likely encrusting sponges. On my rock, much of the sponge survived, although a lot didn't make it over time. Link to comment
