FamousGuy
Alright my hex 5 is like 6 months old, and i just noticed a few feather dusters spreading on my rocks....what have they been surviving off of? I haven't been putting anything in my tank other than marine flakes once in awhile for the crabs? I'm surprised they're living in there. (I know they aren't aiptapsia) Link to comment
Nishant3789
theres more in your water than what u can see, alotta tinty tiny tiny microscopic algea is in the water just enough to feed the tiny feather dusters. they arent THAT hard to keep alive, tis the large ones that are hard to feed. nishant Link to comment

Sahin
Yup, my tank is at 2 months old now and I started seeing lots of feather dusters too. I think your tank has reached a point in maturation process where it can support such life and thats why you have loads suddenly. Link to comment
