Im going to say a veliger (attached with foot) or perhaps some kind of snail larvae. Beyond that Im not sure there's enough evidence to nail it down any further.

Well, I can say that someone on this page is veeeeeery close to an ID. All I need now is a genus. With a bit of searching I guarantee it can be found :happy: .

 

::edit:: Also, they're gone now. Last night a cruising Astrea ate them.

Hatched eggs would explain the single opening. And the algae. And the clear-ness. And the stuck-on-glass-ness. And... do I get macro for guessing? Maybe I can trade in all my points from IDing the Chuck Norris macro? Pwetty pwease?

Nice! I'd guess either turbo casings or astraea casings based on the size, but I'm not sure what you have roaming your tank :)

Nassarius snail egg casing. Soon after taking the picture one of them crawled near the same spot and left a few more.
