oflores Posted March 1, 2004 Share Posted March 1, 2004 I totally screwed up while I was retrofitting my jbj nanocube. I dropped two zinc screw into the tank and are somewhere near Davy Jones Locker. Should I try and fish them or is copper the only thing that affect the livestock?:*( Link to comment
1fish2fish Posted March 1, 2004 Share Posted March 1, 2004 I would get them out. Zinc is going to be toxic to your tank. If you have extra screws try using a magnet to pick them up. If that works you could try using a magnet on a string to try and get the screws out of your tank without taking the rocks apart. Goodluck Link to comment
