I notice there is a little light on the black box and mine is not turned on hence why the pump is not working? I have replaced the power cord to no avail. Any suggestions? Thank you. Link to comment

Sounds like you just got it brand new. If so IMO return it for a brand new one. Any reputable source will exchange it.I wouldn't settle for less, thats an expensive piece of equipment.
