I want to add some actinic supp. to it and have an idea but I don't think it will work (thats why im here asking). Has anyone ever instatlled one or two 13 watt PC kits on the inside of the pendant on either side of the bulb?? Will this work or will the DE bulbs heat just melt the plastic components of the 13watt setup. I hope I made myself clear..thanks for any answers. Link to comment
MattGecko Posted March 1, 2004 Share Posted March 1, 2004 The PC bulbs are made to run cooler and the HQI is designed to run hot. I've heard the heat may shorten the life of the PC bulbs. I don't know how much room you have in you pendent but make sure you don't mount them to close, also add a fan or to. Link to comment
