Tempest Posted March 1, 2004 Share Posted March 1, 2004 Is the top flat? It might just be flatworms which are ugly, but relatively harmelss. Flatworm Exit and poof! no more flat worms. If it has some type of pattern on the top/back (spots, stripes, bumps) then it's probably a nudibranch and it needs to go - very poisonous (excuse the poor grammar) when it dies/gets stressed it will harm/kill fish and inverts. Update: I RO dipped the rock with the shrooms on it and got a whole bunch of these things to fall off and they looks relativly flat and blownish in color. Sound like the typical flat worm? If so the best way to get them out is what you stated above? I saw them all the way on the other side of my tank on another shroom I have so I wasn't fast enough to the problem, they've spread.
