DRBOB
It looks like most people keep their refugium lights on 24/7. Despite a covered back of my tank, there is still some light leakage into the display tank. It looks like the amount one would expect from the moon or a moon light. Would it be best to follow a moonlight schedule? Is there any downside to having some light leakage during the dark hours for my display tank? Am I making this too complicated? Link to comment
mattie
none that i have noticed in 7 months the fish still sleep and the zoo's close and the sps open-up so do not be concerned unless you are using a HOB refugium w/ a 150w+ MH light Link to comment
DRBOB
Thanks, I am using an 18W, and when it is on, it looks a little like moonlight on the reef. Link to comment
