Djm9288
Hi, im getting 2x36 watt PCs for my 10g, I will use them for daylight and my current 13 watts for actinic, so what ulb would you reccommend? Link to comment
MKramer
10000K really gives it more of a marine underwater look. Besides, it provides a little more actinic light than a 6400K, which is good since you only have the 13W Actinic bulb. Link to comment
Satchmo
I would do 1 10000K and one actinic on the 36w kits. I think 13w actinic w/ 72w daylight is a little unbalanced. 72w over 10g is plenty. If it were my tank, I'd rip out that 13w kit and put it over a fuge. That would be a great setup. Link to comment

MKramer
Ah, okay. I still think I'd do the two 10000K bulbs. Between those and 26W actinic, you'l have plenty of actinic light, and 10000K just makes things look, in my opinion, sharper and brighter than 64000K. It looks like you're looking into nice blue ocean reef waters, and not just a well-lit pond. Link to comment
