Magiksurfman Posted March 8, 2011 Share Posted March 8, 2011 zip tie it or use fishing line to loosely anchor it. glue works but usually what ends up happening is the part you glued dies off then its running loose in your tank again. it will prob not attach (i have yet to see any of my loose ones do this) I noticed that if you put them near high flow, close to the surface areas like returns overflow boxes and give it something to attach itself to (screen, netting, rock,cork, partially submerged Styrofoam) as it reproduces the new sprouts will attach themselves to these surfaces. just know that unless your tank is sterile of any other algae it will have competitors for these spaces like turf algae.
