konapete Posted February 27, 2004 Share Posted February 27, 2004 Hi all, I am still shopping around for PC lighting for my 10gal i am planning. I am looking to light it up with about 100 watts. For now, I have everything else (hob, powerheads, and an NO) Think I should go ahead and start cycling the tank with the NO light? or does LR need the PCs to get started? Thanks everybody... cuteios Posted February 27, 2004 Share Posted February 27, 2004 I think you'll be ok with the NO for just cycling purposes. You just need the light to keep your rock critters alive. The only inhabitants that would need the more intense light would be your corals when you do end up adding them. Link to comment
