Hi guys,

I have just joined this forum today. I have been keeping Seahorses for 6mths and now intend to set up a 20Gal Nano with Jellyfish.

Would appreciate if you could enlighten me on the basic husbandry plus whether Nano is the right way to go.

Regards,

upside down jellyfish? (most common) they need lots of light, reef-flats inhabitant. i would say mh-quality. reef quality water.

if it's another type, e.g. pelagic-type, then you're talking $$$ if you can even get one. you'd need cold water (chiller) and a cylindrical tank to mimic infinite space (go hide in the corner). altho you could skip on the lighting then. there was a good article on raising jellys from AFM last year.

they're all toxic to some degree. since you're feeding horses it shouldn't be too much of an issue to feed whichever type of jelly you're aiming for. not an easy animal, even if you go upside down. :P
