quickfinger
The title kind of says it all. I'm wondering which skimmers are both good and somewhat sleek/low-profile? Maybe like an MCE300 or an AquaMaxx? I like that there's no pump in the tank, but it's hard to tell how high over the rim of the tank they stick out, etc. Any feedback or ideas would be hugely appreciated.... Link to comment

rklontz
Any HOB skimmer will be above the rim of the tank. The only way to get around it is to use and overflow and put the skimmer in a sump. The overflow will protrude above the rim but not as much as a skimmer will. All you can really do is find some pictures of skimmers on tanks and see what you find acceptable. Link to comment
