is "mardel" test kit any good

I took my water to the lfs to get tested cause I kept getting the same readings. The test kit is a bit old. I had brown diatom now its gone. so the lfs told me the water was fine. The test kit he used was "Mardel". Is this kit any good?

I was thinking of getting one this weekend cause their having a 20% off sale. The kit looks really easy to use. It has one strip with the basic things on it. You just stick it in the water pull it out and wait a minute and check results.

they work just fine, though they aren't all that precise... we use them to test customers water at the pet store i work at.

If you can afford it buy LaMotte or Salifert tests. They're generally regarded as the best quality hobby grade test kits.
