slylie Posted February 25, 2004 Author Share Posted February 25, 2004 I'm paranoid about getting cleaning products in my tank so i only use a damp cloth to clean the outside of my tank. Sure it leaves streaks, but they show up on camera worse than they actually do. Id rather have dirty glass and heathy corals than clean glass and dead corals. Link to comment

UnderWaterWorld Posted February 26, 2004 Share Posted February 26, 2004 If you want to be safe and not get chemical in your tank, use some water (doesn't have to be RO water) mixed with a little vinegar. If a little get into your tank water the most it will do is drop your PH which can be easily fixed with a PH buffer. Link to comment
