IntenseImage Posted February 25, 2004 Share Posted February 25, 2004 My Minibow 7 tank has cycled and im now adding my cleanup crew. We went to the LFS today and they gave me the following: 2 Astrea Turbo Snails 2 Ceritu (dont know the spelling) Snails 2 Nassarius Snails 3 Blue Leg Hermits First off I thought Astreas and Turbo's were 2 different snails? Am I wrong? Which snail does everyone complain about having to flip back over? 2 of the snails bury themselves into the sand .. which are these. Basically any help to ID these guys would be appreciated. Obviously I know which the hermits are Is this enough for my 7 gallon or should I get more? I also would like to add a fire shrimp. ninhsavestheday Posted February 25, 2004 Share Posted February 25, 2004 astreas are the ones with the coned shaped shell. those are the ones that cant flip themself back over. the snails that bury themselves are the nassarius. Link to comment

IntenseImage Posted February 25, 2004 Author Share Posted February 25, 2004 Yea Ive heard about that so I have extra (larger) shells in the tank as well. My BL's are SMALL tho so they will need to get pretty big before they need shells larger than the spares I have in there now. Pe@ce Link to comment
