Aiptasia
Flourescent strip lights? Give us the dimensions of the refugium. Essentially, a refugium is a modified sump. I would figure anywhere from 20-40 watts of natural spectrum lighting would be more than adequate for most macroalgaes. Link to comment
pyrrhus
except for the damned flow control knob on the ac300 a coralife mini aqualight will fit perfectly over the planned refugium i have both on my tank just havent gotten around to modding the ac300 and putting my 96w pc over the display tank so i can use the mini aqualight i suppose the flow control can be cut off without any negative side effects as long as you dont need to adjust the flow of the thing.
