AReeferIsExpensive
I have two Micro-Jet 450 powerheads (117 gph) and a 10g tank If i have both of them in my tank...it is too much to have both on the highest setting?? or how high do you suggest? im just trying to get a general idea of the flow rate that's acceptable for a 10. USFnano
I depends on what you want to keep. For softies that should be fine, if you're looking to keep sps, then it's not enough. I'm setting up my 10g with a Mag 5 on a closed loop(will be about 400gph after the SCWD) Link to comment

Tempest
It's going to depend on the type of softies and their placement. Mushrooms and open brains do not like strong direct current while GSPs love it. Where you place the powerheads and corals will determine currents and water circulation. Link to comment
