Quick queston about Diatoms

Ideally, you wouldn't have any coral in your tank at this stage. For a new tank, it would indicate that you are moving too fast. However, as someone who has moved tanks, and has replaced the sand bed with new, I can tell you that diatoms should not kill your corals. Corals can usually slime themselves clean as long as the flow is strong enough. You might want to use a turkey Bastet to help clean off any corals that are having problems.
