Cliff Z Posted February 14, 2011 Share Posted February 14, 2011 Folks--I recently started a new 14 gal biocube and bought a 50w Marineland Stealth heater from Petsmart a week ago ---I understand they are on recall now. Petsmart carries the "Aqueon" Pro line of submersible heaters. Do you recommend the Aqeon line or should I go with Ehiem Jager heater? Thanks folks--! Link to comment

I have one that is over 10 yrs old, granted, we're in Fl, so it doesn't get used much but it does dip down to the 40's here. I recommened you should always have a heater on a temperature controller in case the built in thermostat on the heater ever fails. Link to comment
