They do right or i am completely confused? They have been in the tank for 3 days. Did they send me just star polyps??? Kinda worried if you cant tell Heres an up close shot Link to comment

At first they looked like yours, added more direct flow to them and they started to expand. See in the google pic how the are being pushed by strong current, your plyps are sticking straight up. I think they need the higher flow to help keep detrius and nuisance algae off their purple matting. IMO try adding more flow, see how that goes..Hope it helps Link to comment

Lukicloe Posted February 11, 2011 Share Posted February 11, 2011 In my experience, I get the best extension from the gsp in my pico which has the lowest flow and the lowest light BUT it is the most established colony- just over a year old now. So, I'm guessing that though the extra flow may help, the best help will be time. Link to comment
