Clinton
Hi guys, just joined the nano world after having a 75gal for a year. Had to get rid of it so i kept enough stuff for a nice 7 gal bow. Just wanted to know how you guys maintain the calcium, potasium and kh levels in your tanks? Is the weekly 20% water change enough to replenish these levels? Thanks for any advise. Nishant3789
yea the 20% weekly waterchanges SHOULD keep the levels up. if u dont feel safe, then add a little buffer, but not too much as we all nkno how easy it is to overdose. nishant Link to comment
Crakeur
I do a 10% change every week or 20% every two weeks if I miss a week. In the lazy weeks (coming more often now) I add trace minerals. This works fine with my 7 gallon. Link to comment
