catchyy
The bubble anemone i was having problems with seems to have gotten worst. The tentacles are all deflated and the mouth is open wider than normal where i can see some pink stuff exposed inside. Brown mucous-like stuff was coming out of the mouth earlier too. Unfortunately, i do not have a hospital tank to separate him so im just wondering now what the tell tale signs are for one thats about to die. I dont want to throw it away if it can recover but i also dont want it to die and kill everything in the tank. Can i take it out while it is deflated? It's been fine in my 11g tank for about 4 weeks before it started going crazy. Update: The anemone is almost back to normal again. It has gone through these cycles 5-7 times in the last week where it would deflate and inflate, sometimes deflated til it looked pretty much dead only to come back to life after it spit out some brown mucous stuff. Is this normal?bacterial infection? a goner? help me stop this madness! Link to comment
