spiderjeru
Wow! Not me. But yeah, a couple frags of that getting passed around the community would be awesome. I have that one in my tank. I ordered this - https://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_di...&pcatid=664 almost a year ago, and that came instead. Link to comment

gulfsurfer101
I have been noticing some red algea growing on one rock in my 30g that looks similar to that stuff. I really can't tell just yet, all of the brances are still under a quarter inch and are growing very slowly. Link to comment
spiderjeru
Without further ado: Three small clippings, all of this species. Bottom is the calcified/coralline covered remains of the original, purchased as 'smooth leaf kelp on rock' from liveaquaria, came as this instead. Died slowly from insufficient lighting. Left the stony skeleton in the tank bleached and some survived on the rock. Lighting upgrade and a few months later, it began sprouting again as the top variation. Still splits into two and branches, but rather than neat and orderly like the original is varied in thickness and length. And while cleaning my tank a week or two ago found several small growths exactly like the original you have in the picture there. May be hard to see but it's the middle clipping in this picture.
