Laeelin Posted February 20, 2004 Share Posted February 20, 2004 I'm going to be using 19w 6500K PC's , and 20w 50/50's, ect. To save starting money I'm going to start with 2 6500k's and then add in more bulbs after the tank cycles. I'm going to be adding very little to the tank other than TBS live rock (or another "always in water" style live rock). I don't know what range (and mix) of lights I should plan for... The hood I'm in the process of making can handle anywhere from 19w to ~170w(might only be 150w) in almost any mix of bulbs The Question: How many watts and what mix(6500k ,50/50's, ect) would be best for a "god tank" trying to support as much of the original life as possible? ..
