The beginning of last year I converted a 29L Eclipse 3 into a salt water tank and spent WAY too much time and money trying to upgrade it going against everything I read on these forums.... I was sick and tired of it just not working right half the time so I decided to cut my losses and sold everything off to start over FRESH with a quality tank to begin with. So I decided to go with the Biocube 29 HQI. Or top I should say I have the 29 also with a clam on hqi, but was running the eggcrate top, I really want to make it rimless but I do like the top you have. nice looking tank! Also what other type of filtration are you using besides the skimmer? My 29 isnt setup anymore but will be within the month.. I'm thinking of the media basket from Steve t but still debating. This is the stock top that comes on the Biocube HQI version. Different from a normal Biocube PC version and converting it to an HQI. You might be able to order just the top from Oceanic? Sometimes it is more blue then other times. Are there different bulbs I can get that will make it more blue? Any recommendations? Link to comment
