italipinos8
Woke of this morning and noticed hundreds of white specks on my glass. Got a closer look (i mean really close) and there tiny (very tiny)white starfish. Each about a half a cm apart. My tank is still cycling but wondering what i can do to get rid of them later on. They seem to small for a harlequin shrimp to eat. Any help welcome Sorry cant get pics b/c there to small Link to comment
Deadly-Teddly
the harlequins can see em if not sense/smell them forsure. and if theyre asterina stars theyll get bigger pretty quick. Link to comment
nibor
The population will likely reduce. Various life form populations will explode and then disappear as the tank establishes and different niches open and close. Link to comment

If there is a large food source, they will multiply like crazy. If there is a limited food source, they can only multiply so much before they start dieing off from starvation. Link to comment
keydiver
I think you may be looking at hydroids. Asterina stars aren't that that small, but hydroids kinda look like really really tiny starfish. Link to comment
