chodaboy Posted February 19, 2004 Share Posted February 19, 2004 Ok here's the story. My bulb on my current sealife setup burnt out. The bulb says that it's a 10K SUN DAY bulb. before this I had (I think) what was just a 6.7k (which i got from marine depot) and it was rather yellow, when I bought the other bulb (which is now burnt out) I bought it from marine depot it said in the add that it was also 6.7k when it came in the mail it said 10k I lite it up and it was exceptionally whiter and i liked it a lot more than the other bulb I had. I'm searching now for a new bulb and I can't find one online that is quad and is rated at 10k and is whiter than the others instead of drab yellow. I have two 13w acnitics that I'm running my aquarium right now on, and would like to get the quad back up soon. Can someone direct me down the right path or give me some helpful info? Link to comment
