I used to have a clown in a 50g tank that hosted a purple tip anemone. Both were wild caught. The clown was in with other fish, but no other clowns. He used to rub himself all over the anemone and his white stripes would turn a very light lavender. Was this some sort of fishy masturbation?!? My husband doesn't believe that this ever happened but I swear it was every morning after we'd turn on the lights. And it wasn't an issue of the fish just lightening up after being asleep. There was maybe an hour between the lights turning on and him doing a little dance in the anemone. Has anyone seen this before?? Please tell me I am not crazy here! Link to comment
