okay i found a deal on a new 2x55 watt hood so0o0 im thinking about buying it and i was wondering are the hoods easy to take apart and install in canopies ? because i already have the 2x65 watt coralife 24" i was also wondering has anyone tooken one of these fixtures apart ? i was thinking of taking the two apart and re wiring them to fit inside a diy canopy over my 29 gallon aquarium which will give me like 2x55 watt and a 2x65 watt power compact fixture does this sound like a good idea i dun want to go out and i buy a metal hailide just yet cause i figure if i get two 24s i can eventually go out and purchase a hailide for the 29 and use the compacts on my 55! any help appreciated thanxs jake
