theclearblue
While my 10 gallon nano was cycling I figured I'd use the live rock rejects in a 2.5 gallon I had sitting around. Specs: Penguin Mini (bio-wheel removed) LOA 65w 65k No Heater (temp swings from 76 with lights off to 79 with lights on) ? lbs. Live Rock ? lbs. Live Sand I'll probably end up buying a small heater for this guy since I'm sacrificing my comfort to keep room temperature high for this tank. And obviously I need to pick up some more live rock. This is just the rock I felt bad about wasting from my 10 gallon. I've marked water level so I can measure the evap I'll need to replace daily. There's plenty of room for gas exchange between the light and tank, and the HOB (side, actually) is putting out quite a strong flow. I don't know what exactly I'll do with this tank. Might be able to keep some corals in it. Any suggestions? Link to comment
slylie
I'd go with some softies.. zoos/shrooms. Link to comment
jmt
Definately some easy to keep photos. Dosing in a 2.5 would take a lot of measuring. What frat are you in? Saw the composite... -Justin Link to comment
theclearblue
Which would be easier as my first coral to keep, shrooms or zoos? Justin - I hadn't even noticed the bottom of the composite was in the picture. Late nights... oh well. I'm a Sigma Nu. Link to comment
jmt
Ahh that's cool. I'm a Sigma Chi. As for corals, zoo's or mushrooms. As far as care goes, they're about the same. -Justin Link to comment
