I have found a simple solution to light a 2.5 if you only need moderate lighting. The stock strip light (incandescent) will accept a 20 watt coralife screw in ...just have to dremel down a little plastic nub and move the reflector over a little and glue in place. I've been using this setup with the 50/50 bulb on my 2.5 and there seems to be plenty of light for my mushrooms and pollups and the colors on everything look pretty good... Link to comment
