slylie Posted February 14, 2004 Share Posted February 14, 2004 well, finally got my pics of the nano im working on for my desk. its a 2g hex, custom wood stand and hood. Planning to stock with a few zoos, lPS, and a harlequin pair. This is the hex after i scrapped the plastic hood and stand, drilled a hole for overflow and return, and glued/sealed elbows for plumbing. Here is my hood, with sockets for the coralife 20watt 50/50 compact bulbs, and the stand in the backround. with the lights on i dont know if you can tell from the pic, but these bulbs are great, and at 20 watts per gallon, its gonna be nice and bright. Closeup of the plumbiing.. Next I will be plumbing in the 20g sump/fuge, which will be hidden uunder my desk so the effect of a tiny reef is sustained above the desk. Also i will be adding a fan to the hood. I'll keep u posted if anyone is interested in how it turns out. Link to comment
