Trans-am4me
I have an xenia on a rock the rock is long and id like to break the rock in half so that my xenia will sit better where it is. Can I just take my rock and coral down to the basement floor and hit it with a hammer or is there a better way to do this. Please be specific as to how it is done ex. in a tub of tank water or is there no need for the coral to be in water while I quick break the rock? I just dont want to kill my xenia trying to break this rock thank for the help Link to comment
USFnano
The Xenia should be fine for a few minutes while you break the rock. Just take a screwdriver and put it where you want the break and hit it lightly with a hammer until it breaks. Don't hit it too hard or it'll break into a bunch of tiny little pieces Link to comment
skeletor
hammer and a chissel, or a screwdriver, will work. I've also used a large pair of wire cutters to bust open some LR. -skeletor- Link to comment
mattie
yep whack at it with a hammer and chissel and maybe put down some plastic like a big bag for water and LR rubble that will come out so it doesn't make a mess i've been practing doing stuff w/o any one noticing a mess for a while if you are doing this in the house Link to comment
