Xjinn Posted February 13, 2004 Share Posted February 13, 2004 i'm already pretty much decided but figured this would be a good topic and i may learn something new alot of the relevant info is at the bottom of sanjay joshi's recflector article in advanced aquarist http://www.advancedaquarist.com/issues/jul...003/feature.htm i was primarily interested in the 2x2, and 1x1 area reflectance as well as peak par of course i'd be looking for highest incident light with lowest peak as to not fry my corals the footprint of my tank should be 25x12, so wether i shuold be interested in 1x1 or 2x2 area is a tossup certainly somethings can be picked up from th is like the fact that the reef optix has extremely high peak light at a close 6" distance though otherwise.... i'd say they are very close, and i'll make my decision based on pendant size and aesthetics any other takers? those of you with 150 and 250w DE bulbs what is your preference and experience?
