I have just had strip down my Reef tank after a major water spill as I had to dry the carpet out. Iam going to setup a Nano tank this time around and have the following setup in mind, any comments, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated to ensure that Iam heading in the right direction: tank 18 wide x 18 deep x 24 high (about 33gal) 150w Metal Halide (already have) using either 14k or 20k lamp Red Sea Prizm Skimmer 150w Tronic heater (already have) fluval 104 canister filter (for carbon etc, if required) (already have) closed loop circulation, Eheim 1060 pump (already have) running through a SCWD with the 2 returns through holes drilled in the back pannel near each corner RO water filter (already have) Live rock Deep Sand Bed will be using Natural Sea Water I would like to keep a Bubble Tip Anemone and a pair of Maroon or Percula Clownfish, and as a cleanup crew a few snails, a collector urchin and a Black Sea Cucumber Thats about it for now Link to comment
Mnesarchus
Sounds pretty good, might want to think twice about the cucumber. The fluval is a piece of crap IMO, but if you just use it for circulation it's ok. Link to comment
