Daleo
I have cheato in my display of my RSM. My lighting is a pheonix with 2-bulb actinic T5. I want to know, is my lighting too blue to grow cheato, because mine hasn't been lookin' too hot, and I got it like a week ago. Link to comment
danthenewreefman
ideal spectrum would probably be around 6500k, but I'd think it would survive in that lighting. Link to comment
Akwarius
I've been growing some under a radium. Do you have nutrients? Link to comment
phi delt reefer
ideal spectrum would probably be around 6500k, but I'd think it would survive in that lighting. Melev also didnt think his chaeto was thriving under 6500k spiral flourescent. Melev had did a side by side grow with couple different bulbs and the 5100k chaeto was like 3-4 times the size of the other one. The other bulb was 2700k but 5100k showed solid growth.
