Well I leave the water in my tank low enough so that the water can overflow the inlet to the left.... and the only problem with having your water down that low is that as it evaporates quickly and the outtake becomes emerged and therefore the water will start blowing out really hard!

So in order to keep that from happening I add top off freshwater to my tank everyday just enough so that the outtake is covered....

basically you want to pick out the mark on the tank that is best for you and make sure your tank is always filled up to there.. so your salinity doesn't begin to rise. HTH Megan~

Blynk (or anyone else with this setup) - do you run a skimmer on this 12 gal. nano cube? I really like the tank, but would not want to set up a nano w/o skimmer...
