Hey all, I thought I would post my new macro/anemone tank. Most of the macro came from John at reefcleaners.org along with some fellow reefers in my area. It is a Red Sea Max and has been set up for about a month.

Inhabitants:

black leopard wrasse

starry blenny

Maxi Mini carpet anemone

a few zoas

pom pom crab

2 sexy shrimp

GSP

feather dusters

black cucumber

On to the pics and thanks for looking--

Very Cool!

Its really nice to see alternates to the reef tank!

How are you planning on feeding this tank?

Thanks!! I need to get some more fish and plan on feeding them heavy along with the addition on 2 part for the calcerous macros. I will also add some ulva/cyclops for the filter feeders. I can't wait to see it grow in and add some more diversity.

Nice thinking of getting into Macros myself will be following

Thanks--it sure seems to be easier than my reef tank, especially about the feeding and lack of water changes!!

nemastoma looks great

Thanks--too bad my damn starry blenny ate--that was an expensive snack!!

Very nice! I have often considered macros, but worry they look like a mess or "weeds". Your tank has proven otherwise, looks great!

Thanks!! I kind of like the messy look--The tank is still young so it hasn't happened yet, but I will try to keep up with the pruning.
