frogguy1
My tank 18gh has been runnig for several weeks now. I have 22lbs of LV, a tomato clown, yellow-tail damsel, 1 coral banded shrimp, and two-turbo snails. Today i noticed they had several new companions, tiny white bugs are on the glass. Are these ok or bad.??? Link to comment
Mnesarchus
They are a very good thing called copepods and amphipods. Everyone gets them. They are very common. Search for 'pods' on this site and you'll probably find close to a 1000 result threads. Link to comment
frogguy1
So they are good cool. I read that if I see them my tank is progressing fine, and that they came from the Livr rock will anything else appear? Link to comment
nanocat
Hope you like that damsel. You'll never get it out without tearing down the tank You might think about adding a few cerith snails. I have around 10 in each nano cube, along with a couple of turbos. The cerith eat detritus in addition to algea cleaning. Link to comment
