psykokid Posted November 9, 2010 Share Posted November 9, 2010 i did a fw dip on some shaving brush that i got from a friend. He's got red planaria in his system so i dip everything i get from him. Shaving brush didnt do so well, only dipped for a few min.. all the ends went white and died off after i planted them in the substrate. Fortunately there has been some new green growth so it looks like they will recover.. Link to comment
johnmaloney Posted November 20, 2010 Share Posted November 20, 2010 The needles tend to drop when it is transplanted, that is pretty common for shaving brushes even without the dip. Sometimes it pays to clip them before you add them to the tank to save on the potential mess. Link to comment
