Mnesarchus
Hey guys, sorry I havent been posting much lately, I've had lots on my mind and have been keeping very busy. My 50g has been doing well and I thought I'd post a few specs and pics since it's last update a few months ago. I recently updated the lighting from 10000k to 20000k, which I really prefer, it's a far crisper color and my animals are loving it. bertz_maru
forget the frontal on the tank... what about the frontal on that one pic under your name!!!! nice tank... are you running a sump?? what kind of skimmer you running?? Link to comment
Mnesarchus
This is about as good as I can do for front shot of the tank, I dont have a really decent camera. No, I dont run a sump - I did for a week or two but ditched it due to the constant PITA of having to watch the water level and worry about overflowing/underfilling. It's a totally closed system with no filtration other than biological. Link to comment
ReeferMonkey
Better, thanks. Nice carpet! Link to comment
TiGs
I got to give it to you, you got some nice avatars. Always the first thing that catches my eye. Oh yea, your tank looks good also. Link to comment
joekr
that is an excellent setup! I'm glad to hear you went completely biological on the filtration front. I have a HOB filter I was thinking about using, but the more I read, the more I think water movement and a protein skimmer should be more than adequate for the bioload I'm planning. Again, beautiful tank! Link to comment
