SeanK
i used the search and googled it but i still dont completely understand what vodka dosing actually does. from what i read, it makes bacteria eat everything then the skimmer pulls them out of the water? not sure. i have a 40br and was considering vodka dosing since people talk about it alot. if i started, how much would i dose? jeremai
vodka dosing isn't as popular with nano tanks as it is with larger tanks. a generic google search yields better results: http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=chro...;q=vodka+dosing Link to comment
ap123
Also, look at this thread just two or three under this one. Basically, it's pulled from an ongoing conversation about vodka dosing, and includes good links. Link to comment

jeremai
are you being serious? click on my google link above - or, since you are so skilled in searching, google it yourself. you don't even need to click on any of the results. just read the descriptions and you'll have your answer. geez. lazy. justinT
Vodka dosing is supposed to support a bacterial bloom which in turn eats nitrates/phosphates from the water, lowering your nitrate levels. Its tough in a nano because it can burn your corals. Go slowly if you try it. Link to comment
