? about 29 gal. overflow setup

I have a 29 gallon standard AGA. I'm taking it to Berlin glass in jersey to have it drilled, I'm looking for ideas on what other people are running, what works what doesn't. I going to be using an AGA ten gallon as the sump cause it fits perfectly under my stand cabinet. I also need ideas on flow i know that 10x turnover is normal reef see a lot of people run more. I was planning on using an external duroso style drain unless someone shows me something that works better.
