Dj StarChild
Ok about a month ago i noticed these little yellow almost strings in my sand, and on some of my rocks. I truly thought it was string, but now its all over my tank. It is alive thats for sure, because if i try to vacum it up it scatters, the clumps back together. It also eats my flake food, it grabs it and pull it into the sand. It has the behaviors of a small anemone, but its not i can tell you that, its everywhere!!!!Help Here is a pic Link to comment

tinyreef
i'll answer with a pm if that avatar's you. :woot: jk, those worms (if that's what they are) are very beneficial to a system. they are the 'polishers' of a cleaning crew. where the typical herms and snails scrub down the surfaces; worms, brittle stars and such pick off the tiniest of crappie. they also add to the biodiversity of our ecosystems and ime make interesting conversation topics when people see them for the first time.
