MrKrispy
I am cycling some rock and found something on the glass pretty darn far from the rocks, so I assumed it wasn't aiptasia. I can't get a pic because it went behind an intake tube. Here are two posts that look like it, the latter pretty much describes it. However, I only see one majano vote, and Caja for an update on her take. Anyone? http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/showthread...&threadid=17465 http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/showthread...&threadid=13442 Sorry for the links. Thanks Link to comment

LITTLEFISHEE
The first pic kind of looks like a cup coral, I have a lot growing on my rocks. The second one looks like a bleached aiptasia. Link to comment
MrKrispy
i have had lights on the end of the tank for a about 4 hours a day. It isn't making any effort to move towards the light which is on the other end. It looks a little bigger though and it has only been a week. No brown still, and others aren't popping up... birdman204
Appears to be an aptasia, can you get a clear picture of your offending specimen? Link to comment
MrKrispy
not now, I emptied the tank (was just cycling rock) and scraped it off, and set it in some live rock in a QT tank. I will see if it comes back. It looked awfully like the Phyllangia I have seen on other posts of people asking about colorless aiptasia. If not, well I will have lots of aiptasia to sell! MrKrispy
Update: The thing survived the tank move, it has gotten a bit bigger. I fed it a piece of flake food. I have a light on the tank and it hasn't changed color. It has moved around several times in the last week also. I didn't think aiptasia really moved around. If it is not aiptasia but this other anenome, is it just gonna move around stinging corals, or it is docile? Link to comment
MarLooney
majano doesn't move from what i've seen. but i suggest you stop feeding your aiptasia... HAHA >< Link to comment
