5 gallon nano;HOB for air

Hey guys,

I have a 5 gallon bowfront with a whisper HOB filter. Will the HOB filter provide any aireation in my tank and if so will it be enough? I have a zoo med powersweep 20 in it now but it really takes up alot of room.

I have a HOB Aquaclear Mini on my Eclipse 6

and it works fine . I ran the stock filter for four months which is like ... I guess...an HOT and that worked fine..except the HOB gives me much more current in the tank. It picks up oxygen as it leaves the filter and dumps it in the tank as far as I know, plus as it busts the surface it helps in O2 exchange.Anyways it 's worked ok in my 6gal

I use a Whisper10 on my 5.5g AGA which is my QT/Hospital tank, and it's perfectly fine for it. I get plenty of surface agitation, almost more then what I get in my main tank w/ an AQ300 @ 300gph. The goal is at least 10x and @ 90gph you're at 18x.
